FORT GAY W.Va. (WVDN) – Three people were arrested after a pursuit that ended in the Radnor Ridge area of Genoa. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:
“On Saturday, November 23, 2024, Tpr. Newman and Tpr. Johnson were on routine road patrol in the Fort Gay area when they observed a green Ford Fusion driving in a reckless manner at a high rate of speed.
“The Troopers attempted a traffic stop however the driver refused to stop. A pursuit ensuedand continued for several miles ending up in the Radnor Ridge area of Genoa, where the vehicle became disabled on an ATV trail.
“Joseph Bartram and David Bartram exited the vehicle and fled on foot, but were apprehended a short distance away without further incident. Michael Bartram immediately surrendered upon exiting the vehicle.
“Joseph Bartram had multiple outstanding warrants in Wayne County for Fleeing, Drugs, Prohibited Person with a Firearm, and Probation Violations. He was additionally charged with Fleeing with Reckless Indifference and Fleeing on Foot.
“David Bartram was charged with Fleeing on Foot.
“Michael Bartram had an outstanding Capias in Wayne County for Driving While Revoked for DUI, No Insurance, and Improper Registration.
“All three were housed in the Western Regional Jail pending arraignment by a Wayne County Magistrate.”
