FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – A Greenbrier County woman, Shirley Mary Czaplinski, 45, of Fairlea, was arrested after the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force conducted an investigation on Nov. 12. The investigation was in relation to the distribution of controlled substances.

Authorities state that a task force member coordinated with an individual to set up a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Czaplinski. Reportedly, the purchase occurred at Czaplinski’s home in Fairlea. During a debriefing after the transaction was complete, the individual informed task force members that two children were present and the sale allegedly took place in their presence.

Czaplinski is in Southern Regional Jail with bail set at $15,000 cash only.
