LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Officials at the State Fair of West Virginia are excited to announce that Christmas at the Fair returns on December 5, 2024, for the fifth season! This year, Christmas at the Fair will once again allow patrons to drive through and, on special nights, walk the property while enjoying the sights and sounds of the holidays. There is no cost for Christmas at the Fair, but monetary donations are accepted.
“Christmas at the Fair has quickly become one of the most popular and fun events here at the state fairgrounds,” State Fair CEO Kelly Collins stated. “Last year, we tested a walk-through event, and it turned out to be so popular we’ve added even more dates for 2024.”
Christmas at the Fair will start on Thursday, December 5th, and run from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Thursdays through Sundays, as well as Monday, December 23rd and Tuesday, December 24th.
GH Concessions will again have hot chocolate, coffee, funnel cakes, and deep-fried Oreos available for purchase. New for 2024, Fort Spring Missionary and Sinks Grove Baptist churches will be hosting a live nativity scene on Saturday, December 7th in the dairy barn!
