FAIRLEA- The Greenbrier East men’s soccer team enjoyed a lot of positive moments during their 2024 season as they finished 13-5-1 before a season-ending loss to Beckley in late October.
This past weekend, five Spartans earned all-state recognition for their performances this season.
Dubya Vickers was selected to the first team as a goalkeeper and Will Godby joined his teammate on the first team as a defender. Senior Nixon Brown was awarded a second team selection as a defender and Parker Hill and John Withrow rounded out the Spartans with honorable mention honors.
All five players were also named to the all-region first team as well.
“This is an accomplishment to be proud of and we couldn’t be more proud of you all,” head coach Lucas Lemine stated.
