U.S.A. (WVDN) – In a moment that will define the nation, Donald J. Trump secured a return to the White House. This revelation comes despite Trump’s felony convictions, facing impeachment during his last term, sparking an insurrection and a laundry list of allegations; not to mention surviving two assassination attempts. His campaign faced criticism, backlash and many questions leading up to the election.

This marks the second time someone has won two non-consecutive terms. Trump is also set to be the first president in U.S. history to have been convicted of a felony.

On Wednesday morning, Nov. 6, with seven states still to report in, Trump was declared the winner after securing the electoral votes in Wisconsin. With that victory secured, there was no way for Harris to make a comeback and nail down enough electoral votes.

Former presidential candidate, Nikki Haley called Trump’s win “a great moment for democracy.”
