BRIDGEPORT W.Va. (WVDN) – Police initiated a traffic stop yesterday that led to the arrest of one individual, Gregory Lindsey. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:
“On Sunday, October 13, 2024, Trooper I. L. Bowman made a traffic stop on Interstate 79 near the community of Bridgeport (Harrison County). Tpr. Bowman observed the vehicle was operating as an Uber.
“Trooper Bowman identified the passenger as 33-year-old Gregory Lindsey of Charleston, West Virginia. During the stop Tpr. Bowman located methamphetamine in Mr. Lindsey’s backpack valued at approximately $63,000.
“Tpr. Bowman arrested Mr. Lindsey and charged him with Possession with Intent to Deliver. The status of this investigation remains active and ongoing.”
At the time of writing, Lindsey is incarcerated in North Central Regional Jail with a $20,000 bail amount.
