Gary Lynn Allender, 68, of Gap Mills, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the White Sulphur Springs Center.
Born on December 3, 1950, in Phillippi, WV, he was the son of Bert and Zelma Gay Smith Allender.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Thomas Zimmerman.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Rita Carol Morgan Allender; son, Douglas Lynn Allender (Linda) of Ronceverte, WV; grandchild, Samantha Allender of Minnesota; and great-granddaughter, Octavia Lynn.
Gary’s body has been donated to the Human Gift Registry of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. There will a service on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 1 p.m. in the Gap Mills Church Of The Nazarene.
In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy should be made to the Gary Allender Memorial Fund c/o City National Bank.
