Fairlea, WVa. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier/Monroe 4-H and FFA Youth Livestock Show was held on June 28th and June 29th at The State Fair of West Virginia Fairgrounds. There were 73 Exhibitors who participated in showing market hogs, lambs, sheep, goats, market beef and showmanship classes. These youth work hard on their livestock projects year-round to prepare their livestock projects for this show and the State Fair of West Virginia in August.

The Greenbrier/Monroe 4-H and FFA Youth would like to thank the following volunteers and sponsors: Chad McCoy, Shawn Ballard, Clint and Gina Eskins, Becky Childers, John Bartenslager, Haley Gabbert, Peyton Gardinier, Robin Haynes, Josh Peplowski, Brian Wickline, Don Dransfield, Maggie Bartenslager, Meghan Byers, Pat Williams, GMYLA, Arabella Crookshanks – Miss Mercer County Fair 2024, Layla Pence – Miss WV Dandelion Festival , Ashley Honaker Photography, Judge Salem Sifford from Virginia Tech, Mountain View Farms – David and Tammy Schumaker, 4 Arrows Farm, Posh Paws, Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative, Coldwell Banker, McDaniel Premium Preowned LLC, Todd Belcher Insurance, Seneca Trail Animal Hospital, Greenbrier Vet, McCoy Fencing, Kilcollin Dental, Swift Level Fine Meats, Melissa Hylton – State Farm, Monroe Health Center, Willow Bend Bed & Breakfast, Panucci Orthodontics, Bank of Monroe, Mountaineer Farm Center, Legacy Land & Lawn Equipment, Bob & Carolyn Canterbury, In Loving Memory of Lee Kidd Fund, Samsel Family and Kelly Bartenslager for the beautiful backdrop flowers, State Fair of WV, WVDA, WVU Extension Service, all of the volunteers, parents, and everyone who had a hand in making the show a success!
