Carlos Fredrick White, 62, of Lewisburg, WV, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at his home.
Born February 18, 1957, in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Houston and Callie Christian White of Vago, WV.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Fort Spring, WV. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He was the ultimate Mountaineer fan (Let’s gooooo…), and always cheered them on, win or lose.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Philips; children, Clint White (Katie), Ali White (Tryston), Misty Philips, and Justin White; grandchildren, Easton, Rylee Paige, Peyton, and Blake; sister, Rebecca Williams; nephew, Jason Williams; aunt, Helen Dolan; and numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 4 p.m. at the McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with family receiving visitors two hours prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in his memory to Greenbrier East Football Team, 273 Spartan Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
A time of food, fellowship, music, and memories will follow in the banquet room at the Dutch Haus restaurant located the Lewisburg Elks Country Club in Lewisburg.
McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
