Pauline “Polly” Lively Clevenger
Pauline “Polly” Lively Clevenger, 76, of Dawson, WV, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband, Darrell, and family, after a short illness on April 16, 2024.
Born November 20, 1947, in Winona, WV, she was the daughter of the late William “Hub” and Mary (Simms) Lively.
Polly was a 1964 graduate of Rainelle High School. She retired from the Greenbrier County Courthouse in 2009. Polly enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, spending time with her children and grandchildren, laying on the sunny beaches of Florida, and playing on her computer.
In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by her sister, Delores Fleshman; and two brothers, Jim Lively and Jack Lively.
Survivors include her children, Jim Fleshman (Toni) of Ronceverte, WV, Stephanie Redden (Ricky) of Rainelle, WV, and Shelli Fleshman (Tommy) of Dawson, WV; one sister, Pat Vaughan (Marvin), and one brother, Jerry Lively (Karen); four grandchildren, Kami (Allison), Kain (Myranda), Adam, and Jacqueline; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Polly donated her body to the Osteopathic Medical School in Lewisburg, WV.
As per Polly’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
