Fatal crash in Summers County claims life of Lewisburg man

PENCE SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – A fatal vehicle crash occurred in the Pence Springs area of Summers County on Tuesday, April 16. According to reports, the vehicle’s lone occupant was Estil Burns, 54, of Lewisburg.

Individuals who witnessed the accident indicated that excessive speed did not play a part in the crash.

The Summers County Sheriff’s Department, West Virginia State Police, Talcott Fire Department, Summers County EMS and Summers County Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident.
