Remember the extremely cold first Saturday in May last year? Several teams of hardy golfers played that day to raise money for Lewisburg Lions service projects.
This year the big day is Saturday, May 4 with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM at the Lewisburg Elks Country Club. After the game, there will be a cookout lunch, and prizes and awards will be given to the winning teams. We are hoping for warm weather this year!
The Lewisburg Lions Club provides eye exams and eyeglasses to many local residents. Donations are also made to a multitude of local agencies and provide two scholarships to deserving high school seniors each year.
