Paul Joseph “Joey” Morgan, 58, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, WV, following a short illness.
Joey was born July 5, 1959, in Ronceverte and was the son of Webster and Erma Morgan.
Joey was a member of Zion’s Light Baptist Church, worked for ABB for 38 years, and was a lifelong resident of Ronceverte.
Joey was preceded in death by his mother and father; sisters, Glemma Bradley (Austin), Thelma McQuade (John), Theda Campbell (David), and Linda Shope; and sister in-law, Bonnie Morgan.
He is survived by his only daughter, Nicole Morgan of Lewisburg; brothers Andrew Morgan (Mary), David Morgan, and Jesse Morgan (Lottie), all of Organ Cave, WV; sisters, Martha Harrison (Harold) of Lewisburg, WV, Marcia Wickline (Wayne) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and his twin sister Joann Honaker (Tommy) of Ronceverte; adopted grandson, Mason Warner of Marlinton, WV; brother-in-law, Robert Shope; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, whom he loved very much; along with several close friends who were like family.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Zion’s Light Baptist Church with Pastors Shawn Spencer and Gary Baker officiating.
