Jamie “Pancake” McNeill
Jamie Carlton McNeill, 45, of Buckeye, WV, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Born November 29, 1977, in Ronceverte, WV, the son of Michael “Blix” and Marvel Hodges McNeill. Preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Jeffrey Hunt.
Jamie attended Trinity Baptist Church in Buckeye, WV. He followed in his father’s footsteps and farmed the McNeill family farm. He was an active supporter of 4-H, especially the Livestock Show and Sales.
Jamie was active in his community, helping with the Hillbilly Hollow Motor Sports Mud Races, the Pioneer Days Committee, and volunteering as a youth soccer and football coach in both Pocahontas and Greenbrier counties. In his spare time, Jamie loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and friend to many.
Survivors include his spouse, Heather Rhea McNeill; son, Chase McNeill; sister, Rhonda and husband, Brett Withers; nephews, Adam and Casey Withers, all of Marlinton, WV; special aunt, Cheryl McNeill McCallister of Washington, WV; and several extended family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Buckeye, WV, with John Paul Burks officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
