RONCEVERTE, W.Va. (WVDN) – Eight months ago, CAMC announced it was buying Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. It became a reality Jan. 1.

Since that time, many departments and staff have been very busy working to integrate GVMC into CAMC. While a lot of work continues, GVMC is pausing to celebrate the progress with its workforce, families and community.

The celebration will be held Friday, May 19, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Modlin Track and Field beside the hospital. Remarks will begin at 11:45 a.m.

Participants will enjoy a barbecue lunch and tour a medical helicopter and mobile medical unit. There will also be activities for children.

The governor, regional and local elected officials have been invited. All are welcome.
