Nathan Ford Capen, 90, of Rainelle, WV, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at his home.
Born February 13, 1927, at Bakers Field, NY, he was the son of Nathan and Ida Paddock Capen.
He was of the Methodist faith and was a retired teacher. He enjoyed restoring old cars.
He is survived by sons, Mark Capen (Anita) of Walcott, CT, Scott Capen (Tasha) of Freemont, LA, and Bruce Capen of New Haven, CT; daughter, Gail Beti of New York; brother, John Capen of Hewburgh, NY; sister, Rose Berlani of Plain Field, CT; and special friends, Don and Katie Martin of Rainelle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Capen; and two sisters, Anna and Louise.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 23, 2017, at McCraw Funeral home in Lewisburg, WV, with the Rev. John Capen officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens at Lewisburg.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
McCraw Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
