You may have seen the Robert C. Byrd Clinic (RCBC) team wearing blue jeans on Fridays, but did you know they are doing so for a good cause?
“Denim Day” is a fundraiser where the RCBC team has the chance to break their dress code policy if they donate $2 to a local charity each Friday.
Every year, the staff votes to decide which charity receives these funds. Over the next few weeks, RCBC will be meeting with many of these local organizations who do so much for those in need.
The most recent recipient of the RCBC’s Denim Day donations is the Family Refuge Center. This private, nonprofit organization works to eliminate physical, sexual and emotional violence in Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe and Mercer counties.
Robert C. Byrd Clinic thanks this organization for its tireless work in the community, and the clinic staff are excited to be able to help in any way they can.
