Margaret “Midge” Morrison, 74, of Renick, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV.

Born March 22, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Edith Redemann.

Midge had been a resident of Renick for many years. She was a very hardworking woman who never gave up and was a role model for many throughout her years. She was known by many as “Granny,” a title she proudly owned.

Midge had been married to her best friend, Jerry “Steve” Morrison, for many years. She is also survived by one daughter, Stephanie Wiley and husband, Mark, who adored her; grandchildren, Benjamin and Sarah Wiley, who were the light of her life; special loves to her, April McFerrin and Jamey Callison; brothers, Carol Redemann of Baltimore and Barry Redemann of Texas; and a sister, Janet Bateman of Maryland.

Family will receive friends at McCraw Family Funeral Home in Frankford, WV, on Saturday, June 18, 2016, from 6-8 PM.

McCraw Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
