Jacqueline Lee Pomeroy Talbott, 68, of Crawley, WV, passed away early Saturday morning, March 28, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV, following a long illness.
Born July 12, 1946, in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Virginia Kincaid Pomeroy Young.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Jacqueline enjoyed singing and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Talbott.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Talbott of Crawley; daughter, Heather Talbott Gillilan and husband, Jed, of Lewisburg, WV; three sons, James Ray Talbott and wife, Laura, of Spanaway, WA, Joseph O’Brien Talbott and wife, Jamila, of Abilene, KS, and John Alexander Talbott Jr. of Chicago, IL; one sister, Patricia Pomeroy Hall of Prestonburg, KY; two stepsisters, Charlotte Carmen of Beckley, WV, and Pam Bennett of Hinton, WV; one stepbrother, Jeffrey Young of North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Justin Sheppard, Caleb Talbott, Kimber Gillilan, Landon Gillilan, and AubrieAnna Talbott.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, WV, with Brother Ray Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, WV.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, April 1, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to City National Bank in the name of James R. Talbott or Heather Gillilan.
