James Lewis O’Brien, 81, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
He was born September 2, 1933, at Ronceverte, a son of the late Earl Lewis and Gladys Irene Leslie O’Brien.
Mr. O’Brien was a retired truck driver, was of the Baptist faith, and was a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. O’Brien; a daughter, Terri Hylton (Mike) of Ronceverte; two sons, Nicky O’Brien (Linda) of Ronceverte and Marty O’Brien (Sue) of Lewisburg, WV; a granddaughter, Emily O’Brien Taylor (Scott) of Ronceverte; step-grandchildren, Phillip Boggs of Lewisburg, Levi Hylton of Ronceverte, and Sara Blankenship; a great-granddaughter, Brylee Taylor; and a brother, Bill Allen of Ohio.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 2 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastors Tim Dillon and Chad Dingus officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery with military honors.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Levi Hylton, Don Hylton, Andrew Thomas, Jeff Bostic, Kevin O’Brien, and Ronnie Hill.
