Update From Penny Pitch

Pictured above are members of the Greenbrier East football team who helped load food boxes for Penny Pitch on Saturday December 11th. A big thank you to these guys for all your help. I would also like to thank Grand Home Furnishings for delivering our food boxes to The West Virginia State fairgrounds, and Kelly at The State Fair for letting us use the building to store food boxes, and her staff that unloaded the trucks for us on Friday. There are so many people who work with Penny Pitch each year to make it happen. I would like to also thank The Lewisburg, Rainelle and White Sulphur Rotary clubs, The eastern Greenbrier Jaycees, and the Smoot Ruritan Club for assisting in doing interviews and delivering food boxes to families in our area.
Everyone who works with Penny Pitch donates their time to help families in our area, who are having a hard time. Penny Pitch is neighbor helping neighbor. We are in need of some extra help this year in donations. We still have families calling who need help, but we don’t have the funds to help them. It is very upsetting when you get calls from single mothers who don’t have the money to buy their children a toy for Christmas. They are having a hard time just to feed the children every day. There is a lot of these situations going on in our area this year. Penny Pitch has always met our goal to help families in these situations. We are running way behind this year, and we need your help for children in our area. Please send your donation to Penny Pitch, P.O. Box 4945, Lewisburg, W.V. 24901 or you can drop it by City National Bank, Lewisburg locations. Our latest donations are listed below.
