Tolliver To Once Again Serve As Raleigh County Commission President

Dave Tolliver will serve another year as Raleigh County Commission president.

During an organizational meeting of the Raleigh County Commission on Tuesday, January 4, Commissioner Linda K. Epling made the motion to have Tolliver serve as commission president for 2022 and Commissioner Greg Duckworth seconded the motion.

No further discussion regarding the matter was held.

In other commission organizational business,

– Commissioners adopted the 2022 Rules and Regulations regarding governing public meetings. The rules remain identical to those approved in 2021;

– Commissioners approved the Holiday Schedule for county employees. There will be a total of 14 holidays in 2022, according to Tolliver;

– Commissioners approved the County Employee Pay Schedule for 2022.

The Raleigh County Commission meets on the first and third Tuesday each month at Commission Chambers located along N. Heber Street in Beckley.
