“AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LEWISBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, TO CHANGE THE ZONING OF THOSE PARCELS OF LAND DESIGNATED AS GREENBRIER COUNTY, LEWISBURG MUNICIPALITY, TAX MAP 20, PARCEL 63, GREENBRIER COUNTY DEED BOOK 399, PAGE 482, AND TAX MAP 15, PARCEL 118.1, DEED BOOK 359, PAGE 560, LOCATED AT 1329 JEFFERSON STREET NORTH, LEWISBURG, WV, FROM R-1 (TOWN RESIDENTIAL) TO O-R (OFFICE RESIDENTIAL) (MAP ATTACHED).”

WHEREAS, Janey H. Kortas is record owner of that certain tract or parcel of real estate situate in the Lewisburg Municipality, containing 0.53 acres, more or less, as more particularly described and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Greenbrier County in Deed Book 399 at Page 482, and that certain tract or parcel of real estate situate in the Lewisburg Municipality, containing 1.93 acres, more or less, as more particularly described and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Greenbrier County in Deed Book 359 at Page 560; and

WHEREAS, Janey H. Kortas filed an application with the Lewisburg Planning Commission, pursuant to Lewisburg City Code § 1351.06(b), requesting the aforesaid parcels of real property be rezoned from R-1 (town residential) to O-R (office residential); and

WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing on the aforesaid application was held before the Lewisburg Planning Commission on November 4, 2021, subsequent to which the Lewisburg Planning Commission, by resolution, endorsed the requested zoning change and recommend the adoption of the requested zoning change by the City Council of the City of Lewisburg.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Lewisburg, West Virginia that the parcels of land designated as Greenbrier County, Lewisburg Municipality, Tax Map 20, Parcel 63, Greenbrier County Deed Book 399, Page 482, and Tax Map 15, Parcel 118.1, Deed Book 359, Page 560, located at 1329 Jefferson Street North, Lewisburg, WV, be rezoned from R-1 (town residential) to O-R (office residential).

This Ordinance shall be effective upon passage.
