Operation “Take Back Our Town” Slated For Rainelle Residents

Rainelle Police Chief J.P. Stevens has announced that he will be hosting a public forum titled “Operation Take Back Our Town.”

According to Stevens, the purpose of the meeting is to hear from concerned Rainelle residents as they provide their opinions on the steps that officials and members of the police department can take to make the town a better place to work and live in.

Issues to be discussed include drugs, backpackers, those experiencing homelessness and more.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Rainelle Fire Department.

Stevens stated that he hopes everyone in the community will come out to the meeting and make their voices heard.
