The old Greenbrier County Jail is in the process of being torn down as part of ongoing renovations to the Greenbrier County Courthouse and Sheriff’s Department renovations and expansion. The project not only involves the removal of the old jail and sheriff’s office but also recently saw the move of the old Greenbrier County Extension Service office, a former Sears Kit home, from one lot to another 100 feet away.
