Motorcycle Crash In Raleigh County Claims Life Of West Virginia Man

A motorcycle accident in Raleigh County has claimed the life of a Stephenson man.

According to information provided by the West Virginia State Police, on Monday, July 5, at approximately 7:28 p.m., Trooper S.A. Wickline was dispatched to a motorcycle crash on Route 16 in Amigo.

The rider, Donald Blankenship, 63, was pronounced deceased on scene. No other persons or vehicles were involved.

Wickline was assisted by members of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and Rhodell Volunteer Fire Department.
