Lucille Marie Kershner, 92, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on December 15, 1928, in Ronceverte, WV, to the late George and Ethel Scott Adkison.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Rhandall Bruce Kershner, and her husband of 35 years, Lacy Kershner, both whom passed in 1985.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon “Shay” Alvarez, and son-in-law, Octavio “Tavi” Alvarez, both of Maryland.
A member of First Presbyterian Church in White Sulphur Springs, she worked as a Livery Clerk in the Riding Office at the Greenbrier Hotel for 32 years, where she made many lifelong friends. During her retirement, her greatest joy was the many cruises and world travel she had with her daughter.
Her sweet caring personality will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Alleghany Memorial Park in Low Moor, VA, with Rev. Greg Scott officiating.
