The Girl Scout Christmas Giving Challenge 2021 continues.
Recently, Girl Scout Troop #10255 donated toys and clothes to the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program at the Crossroads Mall in Beckley. They used their cookie money to buy items on one girl’s Christmas wish list.
Then, they challenged Girl Scout Troop #10424 to participate with the same giving spirit, and the troop has now responded.
On Wednesday, December 15, at 4 pm, Girl Scout Troop #10424 will be at the Raleigh County Humane Society in Beckley to donate pet supplies.
The troop chose the Humane Society because they didn’t want the pets to be forgotten this Christmas.
There are a total of four troops participating in the challenge from the Raleigh County Service Unit. Each troop is challenged with giving and they get to select which organization to give to and what to give. Now, Troop #10424 challenges Troop #32547 to the Christmas Giving Challenge. Along with a donation, each troop will give a gift to the troop they are challenging.
