Breaking: Body found on banks of Howards Creek

The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office announced today that they discovered the body of an individual on the banks of Howard’s Creek.

According to a press release from Sheriff Bruce Sloan, at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Monday, June 6, the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body on Camp Ann Bailey Road near Caldwell.

The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit investigated the scene, retrieved the body, and transported it to the state medical examiner’s office in Charleston for identification and cause of death.
