Beatrice Juanita Green-McMahan, 89, went to sleep in Jesus on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born June 10, 1925, daughter of the late Luther and Ora Green.
She was a life-long member of Lewisburg Seventh Day Adventist Church where she faithfully served her God and the church. She retired from Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV, as a certified nursing assistant.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Lee McMahan; five sisters; three brothers; her eldest daughter, Barbara Lea McMahan-Freeny; two grandsons, Ronnie Lee Wykle and Tracy Dean Pack; granddaughter, Crystal Michelle Williams; and one son-in-law, Roy Dean Pack (Delsie).
She is survived by her brother, Archie Green (late Nan) of Pulaski, VA; 11 children, Wanda Wykle, Ruth Williams (Robert), Shirley Springston (Tony), Delsie Knicely (Terrence), Georgia McMahan (Hasten Freeny Sr.), George McMahan, Raymond McMahan, Carl McMahan (Debra) Dalford McMahan (Kathy), Dale McMahan (Josephine), and James Pierce Jr.; 15 grandchildren, Charity McMahan, Nichole Linzy, Kelly Pierce, Jamie Pierce, Marie Freeny, Crystal Freeny, Mark Williams, Melissa Pritt, Tony Springston Jr., Vincent Springston, Wesley Springston, Tiffany McMahan, Trohonda Boreiy, Britny McMahan, and Scylar Jones; 21 great-grandchildren, Philip McMahan, Savanna Gregory, Donovan Gregory, Dawn Gregory, Dalton Gregory, Dakota Springston,
Nicholas Springston, Ashlee Springston, Cheyenne Boreiy, Brett Haynes, Whitney Coles, Brittany Williams, Cheyenne Williams, Courtney Williams, Davon Freeny, Devante Freeny, Daija Freeny, Levi Spence, Peyton Linzy, Seth Pritt, and Urijiah McMahan; and five great-great-grandchildren, Noah Walton, Isabella Fox, Ava Freeny, Izehyha Haynes, and Julionna Minnieweather.
She will live on through the legacy of her large family she graced the world with.
Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, will hold the viewing on Friday, October 3, 2014, from 6-8 PM and the funeral services on Saturday, October 4, at 3 PM for anyone who would like to join in celebration of her life.
She will lay to rest in the Green-McMahan Cemetery, Back Valley Road, Rock Camp, WV, with Pastor Art Jeronimo officiating. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
