Greenbrier County Emergency Services were incredibly busy over the past 24 hours tending to vehicle accidents all around the area.
According to Greenbrier County Dispatch, Wednesday, Jan. 27, saw three vehicle accidents in the county. Two of the three occurred on Jefferson Street in Lewisburg. Dispatch reports that both were minor and only the Lewisburg Police Department was dispatched to the scene.
The third accident took place on Rt. 219 in Ronceverte. The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department responded.
Dispatch reports that the first wreck to occur in the county on Thursday, Jan. 28, happened just after midnight on I-64. The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, Alderson EMS, Clintonville Fire Department, Lewisburg Fire Department and White Sulphur Springs EMS responded.
I-64 saw another wreck shortly after 4 a.m. The Lewisburg Police Department, Lewisburg Fire Department, Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance Service and White Sulphur Springs EMS responded to the scene.
Several hours later there were two accidents on Route 219 in Frankford.
The first occurring around 7 a.m. and the second just before 9 a.m. The Frankford Fire Department, White Sulphur Springs EMS and Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department responded to both.
Any injuries as a result of the accidents could not be confirmed as of press time.
