REACHH in Hinton has been collecting candy and loading bags for every elementary school child enrolled in Summers County schools. With Hinton’s precautionary cancellation of Halloween Trick or Treating and the need for remote learning throughout the county, the staff and volunteers packed 642 goody bags for the kids this week. Some of the bags have already been delivered to some of the elementary schools. Candy was donated by many residents of the community. Executive Director Doris Selko says the treat bags will be given to the young students when they return to school. Volunteers included Felicia Hartwell, Jennifer Adkins, Joanne Miller, Crysale Farmer, Christina Albert, Clark Johnson, Lynda Lancaster, Terry Johnson and Robin Cook.
