The Shepherd’s Center of the Greenbrier Valley is heading into 2021 by continuing their virtual events.
To start the year off, the Shepherd’s Center is introducing “Coffee Talk.” The first “meeting” will be Thursday, Jan. 7, at 10 a.m. via Zoom. This will be an interactive and open forum with everyone participating if they wish. The center is holding a second “Coffee Talk” on Jan. 21 with West Virginia State Senator Stephen Baldwin joining the conversation. The center is hoping to get ideas and suggestions from participants on what they would like for this discussion to be.
If are interested in joining The Shepherd’s Center virtual events, contact the office at 304-645-4196 or email at greenbriershepherdscenter@gmail.com. The center will send you a Zoom invitation to join the discussion. Grab a cup of coffee and join the Shepherd’s Center on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 10 a.m. for our first “Coffee Talk.” It will be fun to “see” everyone safely and enjoy a cup of coffee!
The center also asks residents to be looking for information on the upcoming Virtual Spring 2021 Adventures in Learning. Classes will be starting on March 18 and continuing through April 22.
The Shepherd’s Center is in the final planning stages and will be sending out a brochure outlining the classes for the upcoming session. If you need help connecting to Zoom, the center has volunteers ready to help get connected, practice a Zoom meeting and more.
