A Greenbrier County man is in jail due to his involvement in an alleged domestic altercation. Patrick Hunter Hall, 22, of Old White Trail in White Sulphur Springs has been charged with one count of domestic assault.
In the early-morning hours of Sunday, November 9, Greenbrier County Sheriff’s officers were dispatched to a home on Harmon Dean Road in White Sulphur Springs in response to a reported domestic altercation. According to the criminal complaint, the victim informed officers that Hall and herself had been arguing about the volume of the television. The victim stated that she removed the power cord to the television, causing Hall to become very upset.
Hall then allegedly threatened to “beat her to death.”
The complaint states that Hall then confronted the victim in a bedroom. Hall then allegedly forced the victim into a corner, held her down and struck her several times with his fist. The victim advised officers that she brandished a knife at this time to protect herself, and that Hall suffered several cuts to his fingers after attempting to grab the knife from her.
According to the criminal complaint, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol on Hall at the time of his arrest. Officers also observed several lacerations on Hall’s fingers, indicative of a recent altercation.
Hall is currently being held at Southern Regional jail. His bail has been set at $2,000 cash or surety.
