Seth Campbell Havens was sworn in as a deputy sheriff with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, November 6, 2020. Chief Circuit Judge Jennifer P. Dent administered the Oath of Office.
Havens served the citizens of White Sulphur Springs as an officer prior to becoming a member of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Sloan welcomed Seth to the ranks of the Sheriff’s Office, “Seth has completed his State Police Academy training and upon the successful completion of the Sheriff’s Office Field Training Officer Program he will begin serving the citizens of Greenbrier County. He is a much needed and welcome addition to our department and the county. We look forward to his service for the citizens of Greenbrier County and expect Seth to have a very rewarding career in law enforcement.”
Havens is the fourth new deputy sheriff hired in Greenbrier County in the past few weeks.
