With a combined average GPA of 3.8 these seniors have not let COVID-19, remote learning or anything else get in the way of their last season of Greenbrier East Cross Country.
Coming into the season they were all determined to make the most of the season no matter what. All ended their season with personal records and after several changes to their team’s schedule the girls team was able to reach their goals and end their last cross country season at Greenbrier East running at the state cross country meet as a team.
Malachi Crews put on quite an impressive show his entire time in high school. Having qualified every year as an individual except his junior year. Crews trained hard, ran but pulled himself from his junior year so he could get set for his SATs.
This group of seniors have a great future ahead of them. One has been nominated for the presidential scholar award. All are planning to attend college with areas of study in medical, veterinary, engineering.
