A Greenbrier County man is in jail once more on charges stemming from an incident that occurred earlier in the month. Christian Stuart Lockridge, 45, of the White Sulphur Springs area was arrested on Tuesday, October 27, for allegedly violating a domestic violence protective order.
On the morning of Saturday, October 3, West Virginia State Troopers responded to a reported DVP violation in White Sulphur Springs. While en route, troopers were notified that the accused, Christian Stuart Lockridge, was presently inside the residence of the victim who had received the DVP order against Lockridge.
According to the criminal complaint, Lockridge had been served the domestic violence protective order by the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, October 1. Upon arriving at the residence in White Sulphur Springs, Troopers discovered the victim located in a back bedroom with the door closed.
The complaint states that the victim appeared visibly upset, and advised troopers that Lockridge was in the bathroom taking a shower. The victim further informed troopers that she did not know how Lockridge had gained entry to her home, and that she was afraid of him. Troopers the proceeded to the bathroom, where Lockridge was located in the shower. The complaint states that Lockridge was then arrested without incident.
Lockridge has been charged with violation of home incarceration, as well as violation of a protective order. Lockridge is currently being held in Southern Regional Jail on a $4,000 cash surety.
