A local writer has been published for the first time in the horror/comedy anthology, “Coffin Blossoms,” published by Jolly Horror Press. Under the pen name Columbia Stover, Greenbrier County native Lynn McKinney has fulfilled a life long dream with her short story, “Best Intentions.”
“My Grandma was a storyteller,” McKinney explains. “Our whole family picked up the gene, but I ran with it. I think she’d be proud to see me in print.”
This is the fourth anthology of horror stories published by Jolly Horror Press. They specialize in dark comedy, funny horror and horror comedy.
The editors for this collection of tales are Lori Titus, Jonathan Lambert and Autumn Miller, a resident of Covington, VA.
Coffin Blossoms can be found on Amazon as a paperback or e-book. It is also part of the Kindle Unlimited program.
Jolly Horror’s next anthology will focus on tragic love stories with a horror backdrop. Open calls for submissions will begin in early 2021.
