Kimberly Ann Teubert, 57, of Roanoke, VA passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her home. Born November 15, 1962 in Charleston, WV she was the daughter of Frederick Lyle and Margaret Ann Jenkins Teubert.
Kim was admired by all that knew her. A fierce advocate for anyone or anything in need, including, defending her brothers or tending sick or injured animals. Kim would do anything for anyone. She loved taking care of all the children in her family and was affectionately known as “Aunt Kim”. Her boys, Johnathan and Jason, and her grandson, Charlie were the center of her world.
Kim loved playing softball and football and enjoyed many years of games with her friends and family in Roanoke. Kim loved spending time at the farm on her tractor “The Case” and spent many an evening teaching us all a lesson in fishing.
Kim loved her church and playing the piano and singing. She put all her faith in Jesus. She reminded us many times over the past 4 years with her battle against cancer, “God has this, and I’m ok with that, because I’m ready for when he takes me home.” Kim was at peace until the very end, surrounded with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by children, Johnathan and Jason O’Brien; beloved grandson, Charlie O’Brien; brothers, Michael, Randy, Chris, and Scotty; many nieces and nephews; and special extended family members.
