COVINGTON, Va. (WVDN)- The Covington Lumberjacks Bark in the Park night has been rescheduled for June 16 at 6:30 p.m. after the original game was cancelled due to weather. Fans are encouraged to bring donations of dog and cat food for the Alleghany Humane Society, which will also be on hand with adoptable pets. Guests are welcome to bring their four-legged friends as long as they are on a leash.

Fall Giant Flea Market to be Cancelled

LEWISBURG, WV — State Fair of West Virginia officials announce the Fall Giant Flea Market and Antique Show has been cancelled. The annual event was set to be held on September 18-20, 2020.

“It was a difficult decision to cancel the fall giant flea market,” CEO Kelly Collins stated. “However, the last thing we want to do is bring together a large group of people when we hope to be turning a corner with COVID19.”

The next Giant Flea Market is scheduled for May 14-16, 2021. The weekly flea market will continue on Tuesdays in the Free Parking Lot of the State Fairgrounds. Saturday’s will be available soon.

The 96th State Fair is scheduled August 12-21, 2021. The State Fair of West Virginia has a $13.8 million dollar economic impact on the state of West Virginia, and is a 501 © 3 non-profit corporation committed to the traditions of agriculture, family entertainment, and education.
