MORGAN
Kay Ballard Morgan, 81, of Ronceverte, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at The Brier Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born June 6, 1941, in Ronceverte and was the daughter of the late Loyd and Mildred Crone Ballard.
Kay was a second grade teacher at Ronceverte Elementary School and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith E. Morgan, in 2019.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Peggy Crawford (Henry) of Ronceverte; brother-in-law, Mark Morgan of Charlottesville, VA; cousins, Carol Dixon, Dwight Ferguson (Sue), and Shirley Ferguson, all of Charles Town, WV, and Judy Ballard of Florida; nieces and nephew, Kelli Bostic (Jamie) of Ronceverte, Charles Crawford of Organ Cave, Jennifer Miller (C. J.) of Frankford, and Tonya Wolford of Mineral, VA.
Funeral services for Kay will be Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte with Rev. Dr. Joe Geiger officiating; interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Greenbrier County Humane Society, 151 Holliday Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
