Work on the Blue Sulphur Springs pavilion continues, and the historic structure is looking great.
As of Oct. 18, the trim is on and being caulked and readied for paint, the ceiling is going in on the inside. Meanwhile, stucco work on the columns is likely to begin this week and the roof shingles are in that will mimic the 1938 original structure.
All architect’s plans and materials are approved by the State Historic Preservation Office. Both the State Historic Preservation Office and the architect follow the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Historic Preservation.
