Greenbrier County grand jury hands up October 2022 indictments

LEWISBURG (WVDN) – A Greenbrier County grand jury met on Oct. 4 and 5 and returned the following indictments.

Arraignments will be held with Circuit Judge Robert E. Richardson on Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. and Circuit Judge Jennifer P. Dent on Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. in the Greenbrier County Courthouse.

Jody Allen, 41, Frankford, forgery, uttering, taking the identity of another.

Jody Allen, 41, Frankford, counterfeiting.

Michael Burns, 67, Charmco, prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Jeremiah Windon, 42, Quinwood, prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Travis Kincaid, 31, White Sulphur Springs, breaking and entering (four counts), grand larceny (four counts), burglary.

Alex Crookshanks, 30, Williamsburg, burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary.

Sarah Sheets, 29, Ronceverte, burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary.

Howard Peterkin, 34, Waterburg, Conn., prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Dwain Sheppard, 23, Lewisburg, grand larceny.

Travis Highlander, 34, Charmco, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – Fentanyl, prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Neacie Keeling, 23, Hines, gross child neglect resulting in substantial risk of serious bodily injury or death, driving while impaired with minor with vehicle.

Anthony Shuttlesworth, 29, Kingwood, W.Va., reckless fleeing from an officer, driving while licensed revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol – second offense, battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing from an officer while driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Joe Martinez, 33, White Sulphur Springs, sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in position of trust to a child (two counts).

Dalton Ryals, 23, Huntington, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, obstructing an officer.

Cephus Blankenship, 48, Ronceverte, fraudulent use of an access device (three counts).

Joshua Howard, 38, White Sulphur Springs, escape.

Vesper Lewis III, 45, Lewisburg, attempted burglary.

Derek Malcomb, 29, St. Albans, escape.

Donna Roberts, 53, Lewisburg, fraudulent use of an access device (two counts).

Roger Adkins, 35, Alderson, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

Brenda Rogers, 27, Rainelle, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

Jackson Baxter, 17, White Sulphur Springs, robbery in the first degree, conspiracy (note: transferred to adult status).

Gary Bennett, 72, Rainelle, failure to register as a sex offender or provide notice of registration changes (four counts).

Joel Hall, 33, Rainelle, failure to register as a sex offender or provide notice of registration changes (two counts).

James Highlander, 37, Charmco, wanton endangerment with a firearm.

Travis Highlander, 34, Charmco, malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit malicious wounding.

Tanya Jackson, 39, White Oak, W.Va., malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit malicious wounding.

Charles Hodo, 39, Rainelle, wanton endangerment with a firearm (two counts), domestic assault (three counts).

Tommy Jarvis, 26, Craigsville, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – heroin.

Johnnie Keener, 36, Charleston, reckless fleeing from an officer.

John Long, 50, incest (25 counts).

Amanda McFerrin, 32, Renick, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Jason Tucker, 41, Frankford, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Jonathan Moore, 43, Ronceverte, failure to register as a sex offender or provide notice of registration changes.

Delmas Parsons, 52, Rupert, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Jordan Phillips, 26, Rupert, sexual assault in the third degree.

Paul Simms, 45, Lewisburg, malicious wounding.

Alice Thompson, 60, Rupert, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – heroin.

Philip Venable, 33, Fairmont, counterfeiting.

Cody Weikle, 26, Caldwell, attempt to disarm an officer, battery on a law enforcement officer (two counts).
