The Greenbrier County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. at the Kyle and Ann Fort Arts and Sciences Building, 653 Church St., Lewisburg. On the agenda: WV Fire Marshall fie safety poster competition winners; Head Start items, new and revised policies; public comment on new and revised policies including orientation and training, weapons, and district and school improvement; C&I presentation; and more.
The city of White Sulphur Springs will hold city council will hold a workshop, a finance committee meeting, and a general meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The workshop is at 6:30 p.m.; the finance committee meets at 6:45 p.m.; and city council holds the regular meeting at 7 p.m. On the agenda: Family Court Awareness Month proclamation; police department policy; water and sewer rate increase, first reading; board of zoning appeals members; and more.
