FRANKFORD (WVDN) – Following a two-year Covid hiatus, The Frankford Autumnfest parade is returning.
This year’s parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
Lineup will begin at 9 a.m. on Bailey’s field, just north of the school on Rt. 219.
Judging to be held at 10 a.m.; all participants wishing to be judged must be lined up and registered prior to judging. Trophies will be presented prior to the start of the parade.
All parade entrants are asked to be lined up by 10 a.m., and the parade will start promptly at 11 a.m.
Organizers ask the community to help Frankford Autumnfest celebrate its return by making this the biggest and best yet.
Any individual, group or organization is welcome to participate in the parade.
They would like to especially offer an invitation to any of the cheerleading squads, sports teams and baton twirling groups to add to the parade line up.
The festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Frankford, just eight miles north of Interstate 64 on US 219.
