LEWISBURG (WVDN) – Briergarten, the German-inspired beer garden in Lewisburg is gearing up for an all-day Oktoberfest event on Saturday, Sept. 17.
From 12 p.m.-12 a.m., this annual event will be its largest ever, with three bands, improv comedy, keg curling contests, kids activities and more.
Briergarten will be featuring its favorite German beers, along with other West Virginia breweries, while serving up its crowd favorite brats, currywurst, pretzel braids and more.
Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
“This is something we have been looking to do since we opened the doors last year,” says Josh Baldwin, one of the Briergarten’s owners. “It’s great to be able to put this kind of event on for our community and the surrounding area and there’s really nothing like it out there right now. It’s going to be a big, fun event.”
Admission to the Briergarten’s Oktoberfest is free and event details and the schedule of events can be found at www.briergarten.com and by following their socials.
