LEWISBURG (WVDN) – The West Virginia Jazz Orchestra will be performing a free concert in the city Green Space in downtown Lewisburg on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 5 p.m.
The concert is sponsored by the city of Lewisburg, the Music Performance Trust Fund, and Local 674 of the American Federation of Musicians.
Lewisburg City Council member Sarah Elkins will make a Labor Day address at 6 p.m.
The community is invited to go early and visit the shops, pick up a to-go meal at one of the city’s local restaurants, bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music of the West Virginia Jazz Orchestra.
