GREENBRIER COUNTY (WVDN) – Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County (CISGC) is hosting its annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive and is partnering with Family Refuge Center (FRC) again to ensure students have tools they need for a successful school year.
As costs continue to rise, families and teachers alike struggle to provide essential supplies to children in classrooms, thus CISGC and FRC are turning to community members for help.
Much needed items include colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, no. 2 pencils, mechanical pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes and pouches, erasers, 1.5-inch binders, 2-inch binders, composition notebooks, loose leaf paper (college and wide ruled), washable markers, pocket folders, subject dividers, highlighters, and water bottles.
Online registries are available through Walmart and Amazon where donors can order supplies and ship them directly to CISGC. For those who do not wish to donate electronically, physical drop-off locations include West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Kroger in Rainelle, and Love Child in Lewisburg. You may also make monetary donations via check at CISGC: P.O. Box 1188 Lewisburg, WV 24901 or electronically at www.cisgc.org/donate.
CISGC and FRC are 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and rely on the generosity of private donors, local businesses, and foundations and they ask that you consider supporting Greenbrier County youth through this partnership.
