WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS (WVDN)- Valley View Country Club in White Sulphur Springs was the setting for the Old White Garden Club’s Spring Banquet on Tuesday evening, May 31. The gathering also celebrated the installation of incoming officers for the 2022-2023 club year and the welcoming of new members.
Longtime Old White Garden Club member, Joan Gunnoe officiated the installation ceremony, emphasizing the importance of each officer’s duties in fulfilling the objectives of the club.
Incoming officers are Penny Fioravante, president; Elizabeth McGruder, treasurer; Nancy Marshall, recording secretary; and Sue King, corresponding secretary. Suzanne Cronquist will serve as vice president.
New members who were officially welcomed to the Old White Garden Club during the banquet are Cindy Weyen, Jenny Poague, Mary Claire Warden, Julie Fine, Patty Kalinowski and Paula Legg Baisden.
Jenny Ickes and Mary Claire Rennard, daughters of Katie Ickes and Cathy Rennard respectively, hold the distinction of being fifth generation members of the Old White Garden Club.
