CUTLIP
Dorothy Ann Cutlip, 87, of Asbury, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 10, 2022, at the home of her daughter.
Born on June 3, 1934 in Blue Sulphur, she was the daughter of the late Hershel Glen Coleman and Bethel Brook Burns Coleman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Walker; grandson, John; a sister, Janet Robinson; and a brother, James Coleman.
Dorothy was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Asbury. She loved her grandkids and great-grandkids; she attended all their sporting events. She never met a stranger.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ray Cutlip; two daughters, Bonnie (Jeff) Cline of Lewisburg and Cindy (Rosemary) Cole of Asbury; son, John “J.J.” (Merrian) Cole, II of Asbury; grandchildren, Rick, Robert, Jeremy, Tish, Amanda, J.J., Megan, and Katie; great-grandchildren, Chandler, Ian, Reagon, Mia, Jeffrey, Christian, Trey, Riley, Summer, Fox, Emily, Griffin, Charlie, John Robert, Aiden, Kinsley, Bella, Brayden, Jace, and Jensen; great-great-grandchildren, John Oliver, Jensen, and Colt; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church at Asbury with Pastor Roger McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the church.
